Mango Sour Beer brewed by Big Shed Brewing Concern has been available for purchase in pubs and independent bottle shops in New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and South Australia.
It was also available online nationwide.
The batch number made has an expiration date of September 7, 2023.
“The recall is due to secondary fermentation,” the food safety authority said in a recall notice.
“Food products that contain excess alcohol and carbonation can cause illness or injury if consumed.”
They are advising customers not to drink or open the product and to dispose of it safely.
Customers can contact Big Shed Brewing Concern for a refund.
