Millions of users are going to be benefited from this campaign of Apple.
Apple Health Data privacy campaign: Apple on Wednesday launched a new campaign to make people aware of the importance of health data privacy globally, including in India. At present, with millions of people monitoring their health data online through smart devices, this step taken by the tech giant is very important for the users.
Known for its premium products and privacy protections, the campaign will run across broadcast, social media and billboards in 24 territories around the world this summer. The billboards will be present in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad in India.
It will include a new ad featuring the voice of Emmy Award-winning actress and comedian Jane Lynch, a white paper explaining how Apple helps protect data stored on the iPhone and Health apps, and will be available in 24 regions around the world. Billboards will be put up.
To underline the importance of health data privacy, a humorous ad in Lynch’s voice tells the story of people whose health data is shared by third parties without their consent.
The ad is directed by award-winning Craig Gillespie, who directed I, Tonya and Cruella, among other films. The company also published a white paper on health data privacy.
The technology giant believes in four privacy principles: data minimization, on-device processing, transparency and control, and security. It has built each of these four pillars into its healthcare facilities from the very beginning.
