Snake found in midday meal in Araria, children ill
Patna: A surprising case has come to light from Araria in Bihar. A snake has been found in the mid-day meal of a government school here. About 100 children have fallen ill from this food. There is anger in the public after this incident came to the fore and people are also expressing it.

The case pertains to Amouna Middle School in Forbesganj block area of Araria. Here a snake was found in the midday meal supplied by an NGO. Dozens of school students fell ill after eating this food. After this, the school children were hurriedly admitted to Forbesganj Sub-Divisional Hospital. Here the team of doctors treated the children and at present the children are out of danger.
After getting information about this matter, all the officers from the district went to the hospital and met the children. The children were taken to Farbisganj Sub-Divisional Hospital and the officials met the sick children along with their relatives.

Araria’s SDM Surendra Kumar’s statement has come to the fore on this incident. All the children are safe and sound, he added. There was some commotion due to snake being found in the food but there is no problem of any kind. A team will be constituted for investigation and the strictest action will be taken.
