Netflix revealed an English subtitled character trailer for the Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King (Black Clover: Mahò̄tei no Ken) anime film on Friday. The trailer highlights the protagonist Asta.
The film is delayed from its original March 31 release to June 16 due to the spread of COVID-19 affecting the film’s production. Netflix will premiere the film on its service on June 16. The film will have a novel adaptation that will be released on June 9.
original manga creator Yuki Tabata he serves as the film’s chief supervisor and original character designer. The staff members from the television anime return for the film. Ayataka Tanemura (black clover) is directing the film, Itsuko Takeda is designing the characters, and minako seki he is composing the music.
Screenings of the film will award the bonus book “Volume 23.5” to ticket holders. The book will have character designs of the original movie characters that Yuki Tabata designed, a short novel by the film writer johnny waveand an interview with voice actors. The book will be available as a bonus only during the first week of the film’s release and will be limited in number.
Toshihiko-Seki will play Konrad Leto (name in English romanization not confirmed), a former Wizard King. actress and model Maria Iitoyo She will voice the original character Milly Maxwell (the romanization of the character’s name is not confirmed). Fumiya Takahashi he will play Jester Galandros (romanization not confirmed), a mysterious wizard who was associated with the previous wizard king. Miyuki Sawashiro will play prince and houchu ohtsuka will play Edward (the romanization of the character’s name is unconfirmed) in the film.
