The tussle between Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former CM Charanjit Singh Channi has increased further in the matter of giving bribe of crores of rupees in the name of getting a job to a cricketer. CM Mann warned Channi that he should accept the charges by May 31, otherwise he would make the entire information public with evidence. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann tweeted in Punjabi on Thursday morning saying that I respectfully give you an opportunity to make public all the information about your nephews and nephews demanding bribe from the cricketer in exchange of job by 2 pm on May 31, otherwise I will take the photo. , I will put everything in front of Punjabis including name and meeting place.
It may be noted that two days back, Chief Minister Mann had revealed that when he went to Dharamshala to watch an IPL match, an international player from Punjab had met him and told him that when he met the then Chief Minister Channi seeking a job, he had expressed his concern in this regard. Channi’s nephew demanded a bribe of two crore rupees from the player in lieu of getting a job. The player told the Chief Minister that he offered Rs 2 lakh to Channi’s nephew, who abused him.
