The tussle between Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former CM Charanjit Singh Channi has increased further in the matter of giving bribe of crores of rupees in the name of getting a job to a cricketer. CM Mann warned Channi that he should accept the charges by May 31, otherwise he would make the entire information public with evidence. Later in the evening, Channi held a press conference and said that false propaganda does not suit a CM. If they have proof, there is no need to wait till May 31.

It may be noted that two days back, Chief Minister Mann had revealed that when he went to Dharamshala to watch an IPL match, an international player from Punjab had met him and told him that when he met the then Chief Minister Channi seeking a job, he had expressed his concern in this regard.
