Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) found out firsthand what her fellow Democrats think of her on Wednesday, and apparently it’s not much.
The Georgia representative was speaking during a House session when she made a simple request to her colleagues in Congress.
“Members are reminded to respect the decorum of the House,” he said, only to a raucous laugh.
The giggle fest was so extreme that Greene was forced to hit her mallet repeatedly, to little effect.
Yeah, we know: photos or it didn’t happen.
Propriety isn’t exactly a word that has been associated with Greene during his time in Congress, something some Democrats pointed out on Twitter.
Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) likened Greene’s call for decorum to “Leonardo DiCaprio telling people to date their own age,” while Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) tweeted that he didn’t. he had “laughed so hard”. in a moment.”
