To make this, first peel the onion thoroughly. Then wash them with water and keep them in a sieve to dry. When all the water from the onions dries up, transfer them to a big jar. Add one or two chilies and salt to this jar.
Now heat some water and then add cinnamon, black pepper, cloves and beetroot to it and boil for at least 5 minutes. Then turn off the flame and let this water cool down.
