With this gesture, every Maharashtrian and patriot feels honoured.” She said, “We urge all political parties of Maharashtra to keep aside their political differences and join this national festival for the sake of national unity and as a tribute to Veer Savarkar.” Chief Minister Shinde will represent the people of Maharashtra in the national capital on May 28 at the inauguration of the new Parliament House. The party said it would also pay tribute to Veer Savarkar on his birth anniversary.
