Ron DeSantis announced his candidacy for the White House on Wednesday night in a live event with Twitter owner Elon Musk.
As The Gateway Pundit reported yesterday, Ron DeSantis will announce his presidential bid Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET in a space Twitter interview with Elon Musk.
The Twitter space crashed several times and appeared to many saying “details not available.” If this is what DeSantis’ attempt to beat President Trump will be like… Not a great start.
According to Fox, “DeSantis’ announcement coincides with his meeting this week in Miami with major financial backers.”
However, many major donors and voters are jumping ship ahead of its announcement. President Trump leads by as much as 45 points in latest GOP primary pollsand many, including big donors, are wondering if DeSantis is ready for prime time.
The Gateway Pundit reported that the DeSantis campaign registered with the Federal Election Commission just hours ago.

Leavitt further criticized DeSantis by labeling him “a puppet of the corporate donor class,” unlike President Trump, “who can’t be bought.”
President Trump is a billionaire businessman who bought Mar-a-Lago with his own money. He cannot be bought.
