Civil construction company Om Infra (OM Infra) Limited has made excellent profits in the March quarter. Om Infra has achieved a standalone net profit of 183.36 million in the fourth quarter of FY 2022-23. The company had a standalone net loss of ₹131.43 million in the same financial year a year ago. Along with this, the company has also announced a dividend of 0.50 per equity share.
Boom in revenue: Om Infra’s revenue has increased by 193 percent on a year-on-year basis. The revenue increased to Rs 328.32 crore from Rs 112.24 crore in the same period a year ago. Operating profit for the March quarter increased to Rs 31 crore with an operating profit margin of 10 per cent.
Talking about the financial year 2022-23, Om Infra’s standalone net profit saw a growth of almost 200 percent. It posted a profit of Rs 33.54 crore in this financial year as against Rs 11.07 crore in the same period a year ago. Its revenue from operations increased by 150 percent to Rs 719.76 crore.
Shares also jump: The stock of this company reached Rs 41.20 on BSE on Wednesday, the third trading day of the week. There was an increase of 1.60% compared to the previous day. The stock rose nearly 2 percent during trading. Its market cap is Rs 396.77 crore.
About Company: Om Infra’s projects are running in many states of India as well as abroad. The business of the company is related to hydro power, irrigation and water storage projects etc. Om Infra is working on government projects and many engineering projects. These include the government-backed ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ (Har Ghar Jal).
What is the plan of the company: Vikas Kothari, Managing Director of Om Infra said – Our company has a minor debt. We are also developing two real estate projects in Rajasthan which can generate cash surpluses of over Rs 4,000 million over the next 2-3 years. In this financial year, we are targeting to bid for projects worth Rs 30,000 million.
