Free VR Mode update will be available for PS VR2 device on PS5
CAPCOM released a new trailer for the upcoming free “VR (Virtual Reality) Mode” for its new version of the resident evil 4 game during the game station Live stream of Showcase 2023 on Wednesday. CAPCOM has yet to reveal a release date for the free update.
VR mode will be compatible with the game station VR2 device for game station 5.
The game released for the game station 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 24, and has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide as of April 7. The game has a “reimagined plot” and a new graphic style based on the company’s proprietary RE engine.
CAPCOM released the resident evil 4 game for GameCube and later for game station 2 in 2005. Since then, the company has ported the game to game station 4, game station 3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices, and PC. The game shipped on the Switch in May 2019. The game received a VR remake for the Oculus Quest 2 headset system in October 2021. The game’s story follows Leon S. Kennedy as he tries to rescue the daughter of the US President
Resident Evil Village is the eighth entry in CAPCOM‘s resident Evil survival horror game series. The game was released in May 2021 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Stadia) platforms.
