Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will not oppose the move to ban the Imran Khan-led PTI for “promoting extremism and violence”. Earlier, when some PML-N leaders proposed to ban PTI as a political party, Bilawal had expressed dissent, reported Dawn news.
He made the remarks while speaking to the media in Islamabad, echoing the sentiments expressed during his meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. “I have opposed the move to ban PTI in the federal cabinet, but now we cannot do anything as they (PTI) have crossed the limits,” he said.
