SAIL told the stock markets on Thursday that it had registered a net profit of Rs 2,478.82 crore in the same quarter of FY 2021-22.
New Delhi. State-owned SAIL reported that its consolidated net profit declined by over 50 per cent to Rs 1,159.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31. The company said that its net profit decreased due to decrease in income. SAIL told the stock markets on Thursday that it had registered a net profit of Rs 2,478.82 crore in the same quarter of FY 2021-22.
The company’s total income declined to Rs 29,416.39 crore in the quarter under review, as against Rs 31,175.25 crore in the same period last year. The company’s board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share for the financial year 2022-23.
