Samajwadi Party: Vice Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, Prof. The ongoing investigation against Vinay Kumar Pathak has been canceled by Governor Anandiben Patel. According to the Raj Bhavan, according to the rules, there is no provision for the Vice-Chancellor to take any investigation action against his former officer. The inquiry against the Vice-Chancellor can be done at the level of the Chancellor. For which the Samajwadi Party has now attacked the UP government. Alleging corruption, the SP asked why Prof. Pathak was being saved.
Samajwadi Party questioned the cancellation of investigation against Vinay Pathak and said that efforts are being made to save him even after getting many evidences of corruption. Targeting the Yogi government, the SP said that “Her Excellency the Governor of UP has ordered the closure of many investigations against the corrupt VC Vinay Pathak. It came to light a few months back but the corrupt Yogi and BJP government was protecting it.”
SP accused of corruption
The Samajwadi Party alleged that “despite the evidence, shoddy action was taken against Pathak on which many questions are being raised.” This is a big question mark. After that, a big question is being raised on getting the investigation stopped. After all, who is saving this corrupt person, Yogiji or the Raj Bhavan? After all, to whom did Vinay Pathak give a share in the amount of corruption?”
This argument was given in the statement issued from the Raj Bhavan
In fact, the then Vice-Chancellor of AKTU, Prof. PK Mishra had constituted a three-member inquiry committee against Prof. Vinay Pathak on February 1 under the chairmanship of a retired High Court Justice.
