Xtra Time Web Desk – The stage is set for the last two matches of Indian Premier League 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium. To make the occasion special, the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) leaves no stone unturned. Popular Gujrati singer Kinjal Dave will perform live at the start of the Qualifier 2 between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians on Friday 26 May. For the closing ceremony on May 28, there will be an extravagant light show. Some big stars from the Bollywood industry will also wow the audience. There are reports that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and musician AR Rahman will perform as in last season’s closing ceremony.
Last-minute fixes are in full swing at the iconic stadium. A 1 lakh spectator capacity is expected for the grand finale on Sunday as the tickets are sold out. There will be high-profile dignitaries present at the stadium to watch the closing ceremony. The chairmen of the boards of Sri Lanka Cricket, Bangladesh Cricket Board and Afghanistan Cricket Board will be present along with members of all state associations.
The opening ceremony was a huge success with live performances from stars like Arijit Singh, Tamannah Bhatia, Rashmika Mandanna, Tiger Shroff and Katrina Kaif.
