RELIANCE shares on NSE Nifty are up by 2.82 per cent, SUNPHARMA by 2.32 per cent, HINDALCO by 2.18 per cent, HINDUNILVR by 2.11 per cent, HCLTECH by 1.97 per cent.

On the NSE Nifty, ONGC declined by 1.20 per cent, GRASIM by 0.96 per cent, BAJAJ-AUTO by 0.62 per cent, BHARTIARTL by 0.60 per cent and POWERGRID by 0.40 per cent.

The Indian rupee declined marginally by 0.17 paise to close at 82.57 per dollar at the interbank forex market.
