Threats about satanic merchandise are jeopardizing worker safety, Target Corp spokeswoman Kayla Castaneda said in a statement Tuesday.
“Since introducing this year’s collection, we have experienced threats that impact our team members’ sense of safety and well-being at work,” he said. “Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior.”
Target’s huge ‘Pride’ section, dedicated to clothing for trans and LGBTQ kids, including “body-hugging kids’ swimwear” and chest girdles, is displayed in the front of every store throughout the country.
The collection includes T-shirts and bags with messages including, “live laugh lesbian”, “cure transphobia not trans people”, “too queer for here” and “we belong everywhere”.
Abprallen, a London-based LGBT+ company that sells clothing featuring satanic imagery, including pentagrams, horned skulls and devil references, collaborated with Target to create the “PRIDE” collection.

“Satan respects pronouns,” states a design found on the clothing manufacturer’s t-shirts and pins.
Abprallen is owned by Eric Carnell, a self-proclaimed “trans fiend.”
“Being called a demon is something I can deal with, and the idea of a trans demon is pretty cool, most of my work focuses [sic] in gothic or dark and satanic imagery juxtaposed with bright colors and positive LGBT+ messages,” he wrote on the brand’s Instagram page last year.
A search for Abprallen products at Target.com on Tuesday shows “0” results.

Transgender and “body-friendly” swimwear and children’s merchandise are now under review, but no decision has yet been made on those products, Castaneda said.
The boycott threats prompted Target to reduce its activity during an emergency meeting with the Target Asset Protect & Corporate Security team.

“They gave us 36 hours, told us to take all our Pride stuff, the whole section, and move it to a section one-third the size. From the front of the store to the back of the store, you can’t have anything on mannequins or big signs,” a Target insider, who has worked for the company for nearly two decades, told Fox News.
“We call our clients ‘guests,’ there is outrage on their part. This year, it’s exponentially more than any other year,” the Target insider continued. “I think given the current situation with Bud Light, the company is terrified of a Bud Light situation.”
California Gov. Gavin Newsom slammed Target CEO Brian Cornell for “selling out selling the LGBTQ+ community to extremists.”
“This is not just a couple of stores in the South. There is a systematic attack on the gay community across the country. Wake up America. This does not stop here. are you black? You are Asian? Are you Jewish? You are a woman? You’re next,” the Democratic lawmaker tweeted.

Republican Senator Tom Cotton shared an image of one of the items sold by Abprallen.
“Even by awakening corporate standards, @Target’s partnership with a Satanist to push the trans agenda on kids is remarkable,” he wrote, adding: “I’m sure the majority of @’s employees and customers Target are appalled by this.”

National outrage over satanic children’s clothing stems from lies spread by conservative media, warn writers for the Washington Post and Associated Press.
“Disinformation in recent days has focused on children’s swimsuits that were falsely labeled ‘crease-friendly’ by prominent conservative groups and the media. The pleat-friendly swimsuits were for adults only, the Associated Press reported. Pleat-friendly swimsuits offer additional coverage to allow trans women without gender-affirming operations to hide their genitalia,” reports The Post. “Some Conservatives have also called for a boycott of Target over its association with the UK-based brand Abprallen, which they claim features Satanist designs. Some of the Abprallen pieces Target was selling included a snake sweatshirt with the phrase “Cure Transphobia, Not Trans People” as well as a messenger bag that reads “We Belong Everywhere.”
