Kari Lake spoke out against Ron DeSantis this week on Newsmax for having so far lost his war with Disney and explained why she thinks the governor “should stay in Florida.”

Desantis will officially enter the 2024 Republican primary for president via an announcement on the Twitter space with Elon Musk.

Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt called DeSantis’ campaign launch “out of touch” and unidentifiable, later criticizing his plans for an after-party at the Four Seasons Miami.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Disney outbid Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a last-minute move before he signed legislation to restrict the company’s powers. Disney’s new board discovered that the old board made significant multi-year deals with the company before they dissolved.

The company then sued DeSantis last month, alleging that he had embarked on a “targeted campaign of government retaliation” that threatens its business.

DeSantis was outwitted by savvy corporate executives, and he’s clearly not ready to take on the DC swamp.

This is one of the reasons why your donors and voters jump ship before your announcement. Trump leads by as much as 45 points in recent Republican primary polls, with many, including big donors, wondering if DeSantis is ready for prime time.

Kari Lake recently responded to DeSantis’ plan to challenge Trump on Newsmax with a savage version: “If you can’t beat Donald Duck, how are you going to beat Donald Trump?”

She continued: “I think that’s a question we need to ask ourselves when it comes to Governor DeSantis, and I think he should stay in Florida…”

Newsmax reports,

“When you fight with Disney,” Lake tells “Eric Bolling The Balance” during his appearance, “you need to play to win.”

Lake goes on to add that “so far, Governor DeSantis has been outworked and outmaneuvered by Disney. As far as I know, Reedy Creek still exists; they still host trans events at their park. This indoctrination continues, and is actually being rubbed down on American families. You know, if you can’t beat Donald Duck, how are you going to beat Donald Trump? I think that’s the question we need to ask ourselves when it comes to Governor DeSantis.”
