Game releases for PS5, PS4, Switch
Game developer Nihon Falcom began streaming a teaser commercial on Friday for Ys X: Norsethe last entry in your Yeah RPG series. The company also revealed on Friday that the game will be released for game station 5, game station 4, and Nintendo Change on September 28.
The limited edition of the game includes an original mini soundtrack, digital armor, insignia, visual card game, and an original Adol Christin backpack.
The game takes place on an archipelago in Obelia Bay inhabited by Norman sailors. The protagonist Adol Christin becomes involved in his affairs, as he too encounters a new enemy called the “Griegers”, the immortal undead that terrorize humans.
The game will now allow combat in “Solo Mode”, where players control one character with automatic support from another character, as well as “Combined Mode”, which allows players to control two characters simultaneously. The game will also feature a navigable ship that players can use to explore the seas and the archipelago, as well as engage in ship-to-ship combat.
Ys IX: Monster Noxthe previous entry in the series, released for PS4 in Japan in September 2019. NIS America released the game for PS4 in the US and Europe in February 2021. The game was released for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in July 2021. The game launched for PS5 on May 9 in North America and May 12 in Europe.
